Custom-built, life-size exhibits engineered to your venue — your dimensions, your movement set, your control type.
A plant that moves is either magical or ridiculous, and there is very little middle ground. The difference is almost always motion design: plants do not have arms and legs to perform with, so the movement has to come from something the plant plausibly does.
That means slow, small and intermittent. A trap that closes on approach, a vine that contracts, a flower that turns toward a visitor — each is a single movement, and each works because the visitor already knows what the real plant does. Adding a second and third movement to the same plant usually ruins it.
Botanical gardens, immersive trails, themed restaurant interiors and dinosaur park set-dressing. The most common use is not as a standalone exhibit but as support: a carnivorous plant bed beside a dinosaur enclosure does more for the atmosphere than another animal would.
Outdoor builds use galvanised frames on a hard standing. Indoor builds can afford finer mechanisms and lighter structure, and are the better place to spend money on detail. Power draw is low — a typical trap mechanism is a few hundred watts.
